
This event will be completed using the BoardPunks mobile app. Challenge details will be shared once you begin the event.
DATE/TIME: Sunday, 6/25/2023 12pm-8pm.
BROADCAST: We will review each contestant upload and select some to use for the Facebook Live broadcast.
CONTEST OBJECTIVE: Details will be provided once Players begin the event. The contest steps will be similar in nature to previous events.
BAGS: 4 bags total
THROWS: 4 throws per round
UPLOAD: Players’ content will be automatically uploaded to our database following their attempt. The mobile app is available through the App Store (iOS) and Play Store (Android).
Players must film the setup which consists of measuring distance between boards and setting up the camera behind one board while having both boards visible (player throws from opposite side as camera):
- Begin the event using the BoardPunks mobile app anytime during the contest window (12p-8p for this test event).
- Verify distance between boards.
- Place camera so both boards are visible, with player throwing toward the board with camera behind it (the BoardPunks mobile app includes an overlay to help position your camera).
- Begin challenge (steps will be shown on screen).
PRIZE POOL: $350 in ETH (or USDC) and/or BG Sorcerers & Samurais (1 set of each)
CONTEST ENTRY: Contestants are required to own an NFT in order to compete in this event.
JUDGING: All entries will be judged based on judges’ determination of the rules.
WINNERS:
1st: $200 in ETH OR (1) set of BG Cornhole Sorcerers
2nd: $100 in ETH OR (1) set of BG Cornhole Samurais
3rd: $50 in ETH
*Players can receive payout in USDC if they prefer
TIES: In the event of a tie, Judges will create a playoff event for the players that tied.
NON-WINNERS: Non-winners can keep their NFT to compete in future events. The NFT belongs to them, they can do anything they would like with it.
Note: This event does not require winners to surrender their NFT. Winners are also able to keep their NFTs for future events.
